The Rotation Lab technology includes a mechanical spinner on the floor that is controlled by the coach to allow the athlete to practice their positioning as they spin. Harness technologies provide the skater the opportunity to practice spins and jumps while elevated off the ground. The Skate Lab Rotation Lab is an innovative and very effective training experience for Calgary figure skaters.
Yes! Our harness-training tool allows athletes to practice and master their positioning in the air.
Standard pricing is $100/hour and availability is dependent on the demand for the training area. Most athletes book for a 15-minute session each visit to The Rotation Lab. You can book individually, but you must have a qualified Skate Canada coach with training in The Rotation Lab with you at all times.
